Documents regarding the details haplotype map project. A letter from Lynn Frampton to the HapMap Working Group Members with a status report for their search for existing samples for use in the pilot study. The list was divided into several categories, from those that seem very possible, to those not available. Documents also include notes that Leon Eisenberg sent to Francis Collins with guidelines for discussing the science and sociology of race as a basis for educating medical students on the issues of race and population.

This collection may contain materials with sensitive or confidential individual and patient information, as well as sensitive information about the grant funding process, that is protected under federal or state right to privacy laws and regulations. As such we are unable to make fully available publicly much of these materials. Those that have been made available have been carefully redacted so as to remove all personally identifiable information (PII).
