This collection contains materials created by or belonging to former Associate Director of the Extramural Research Program at NHGRI, Jane Peterson Ph.D. Dr. Peterson retired in 2014 and the files in this collection were accumulated during her 15 year tenure at NHGRI. The bulk of the materials are grant-related, primarily grants funded during the Human Genome Project (1990-2003).

Scope and Contents

This collection contains a large variety of media materials, including news reports, interviews with staff, press conferences, lab footage, symposia, meetings, and others. Formats include VHS, audio cassette, BetaCam, DVD, CD, and others. The majority of the materials were created during the years of the Human Genome Project (1990-2003) but also include more recent materials.
