HapMap Kitchen Cabinet, 2003

 File — Box: FC-46, Folder: 4
Identifier: 4

Scope and Contents

Correspondence regarding the Haplotype Map Project which included points to cover on a conference call with Japanese HapMap Sample Collection and Community Engagement in January 2003. The US staff wanted to make sure the Japanese HapMap Project followed the minimal standards set for the project since the professors in Japan had recently changed their plan for focus groups from doing them in tandem to doing 8 rounds of 3 groups. Documents also include a document titled "Developing a Haplotype Map of Human Genome for Finding Genes Related to Heath and Disease, July 18-19, 2001." There is also a form documenting the procedures for recruitment for Hap Map in Japan.
