Scope and Contents

This series contains materials related to the International HapMap Project, including meeting files, press materials, correspondence, draft papers, and notes. The HapMap began after the completion of the Human Genome Project and ran from 2003 to 2006. It was a global effort aimed at relateing variations in the human DNA sequences with genes associated with health.
